Job Description
Our client is a leading trading company based in Nigeria that specializes in the exportation of highquality cocoa beans and cashew. They are seeking a highly skilled IT OPERATIONS & SECURITY MANAGER to join their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daytoday operations of all IT systems including cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365) SaaS applications cloud backups and the IT ticketing system. Ensure high availability performance and reliability of these systems.
- Develop implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures. Manage security tools and services. Proactively identify and mitigate security risks and respond effectively to security incidents. Champion a culture of security awareness within the organization.
- Manage and mentor the IT team fostering a collaborative and highperforming environment. Delegate tasks effectively and provide opportunities for professional development.
- Lead and contribute to IT projects including the implementation of new systems and tools and the development of inhouse solutions.
- Manage relationships with key IT vendors OEMs SaaS providers and cybersecurity partners. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards including data protection laws. Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies. Work closely with the Data Protection Officer.
- Contribute to the development of the overall IT strategy aligning IT initiatives with business goals. Play a key role in achieving strategic objectives. Drive the automation of business operations through the effective use of innovative tools and explore new technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Manage incident response plans and oversee disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
- Oversee the IT budget manage costs related to IT services and ensure cost effective solutions are in place.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 45 years of experience in IT operations and security management with a demonstrable track record of success.
- Experience managing cloudbased IT environments (Microsoft 365 Azure AWS or similar).
- Experience with SaaS applications and ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Experience implementing and managing IT security programs.
- Experience leading and managing IT teams.
- CompTIA Security or ISC2 CC CCNA CCNP CISA CISSP are added advantage. Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 including SharePoint Azure and Intune and Entra.
- Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls intrusion detection systems endpoint detection and response etc.)
