In Ecosystem & Operational Risk (EOR) technology group we are responsible for building Visas cuttingedge risk detection and mitigation capabilities including payment fraud disruption. This includes idea generation architecture design development and testing of products applications and services that provide Visa and its clients with solutions to detect prevent and mitigate various threats in the overall payment eco system.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Minimum of 1 years of experience in building largescale applications using opensource technologies. Design and coding skills with Big Data technologies like Hadoop Spark Scala Java Hive HBase Oozie Data APIs streaming and Map Reduce.
Handson expertise with Spark/Scala or Spark/Java or Spark/Python.
Experience with highly distributed scalable concurrent and low latency systems.
Experience with Agile methodologies. Work experience in improving the client experience.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a strong automation and customer mindset
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Should be comfortable facilitating multiteam activities.
Payment processing background is a big plus.
