Workplace Technology Engineer

Summary:

Were seeking a highly skilled Workplace Technology Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the Atlassian products within our organisation ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our global workforce. You will collaborate closely with various teams across the company to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.

What youll be doing:

• Design and implement Atlassian solutions from products including Jira Software Jira Product Discovery and Confluence to streamline workflows enhance collaboration and improve productivity
• Configure and customise Atlassian products to meet specific business needs ensuring they are aligned with best practices and user expectations
• Develop and maintain custom workflows apps and integrations to extend the functionality of Atlassian products and integrate them with other systems within the business
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on Atlassian products resolving issues and ensuring they are effectively utilised
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay uptodate with the latest trends and developments in Atlassian products and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for the use of Atlassian products within the organization
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and training programs to educate employees and colleagues on the use of Atlassian products

What were looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Atlassian products particularly Jira Software Jira Product Discovery and Confluence
• Experience in designing and implementing custom workflows apps and integrations
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with other SaaS based applications such as Google Workspace and Slack
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python JQL)
• Certification in Atlassian products
