Blue Forge Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading retail Supermarket / Retail Convenience chain expanding across Ireland. Known for its strong community presence and excellent career progression this retailer supports management development through training and education.
They have recently acquired a busy morning trade shop in the Limerick city area and are seeking an experienced Deli Supervisor or senior Deli staff member who would have a strong understanding of fresh food deli counter standards effective control of stock levels prior experience ordering fresh food deli produce and must have good people skills for working within a team and the general public.
Salary DOE will offer up to 35000
Career progression staff discounts and early shifts will be offered.
The ideal candidate for this Deli Manager Job:
- Previous management experience working with food in a busy fast paced environment
- Strong with stock control experience handling orders for large quantities of different fresh food offerings.
- Holding high standards in your expectations of customer service cleanliness and merchandising fresh food displays.
- Strong organisational skills
- Be able to work both in a team and own initiative
- A strong understanding of food safety and HACCP knowledge
Responsibilities for this Deli Manager Job:
- Oversee the running of busy deli production ready made meals hot counter cold food offering and salad bar
- Responsible for up 6 staff members organizing work to be completed on time and to a high standard
- Ensuring the department has the correct amounts of stock to trade for the week using technology and sales reports to analyze stock levels and reduce waste and shrinkage.
- Maintaining food safety protocols like hygiene records and HACCP records
- Maintaining the standards across all your assigned departments ensuring your teams know the expectation of work required of them
- Training and coaching personnel to follow procedures and excel in their roles to increase department performances by increasing productivity and customer service.
