Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Design and develop highquality scalable and reusable code while adhering to best practices in software architecture code reviews and testing.
- Will become an expert on our Client Side Scripting API and various UI
- Collaborate with product owners to analyze detailed requirements and deliver endtoend solutions from design to production deployment.
- Develop robust userfriendly software that empowers customers to customize and extend ServiceNow functionality seamlessly.
- Drive innovation by contributing to the design and implementation of new products features and enhancements to the existing suite.
- Manage and mentor team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Architect and implement endtoend solutions including frontend UI components backend services and database design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and nonproduction environments.
- Ensure high performance and scalability by optimizing code database queries and application architecture.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning retrospectives and daily standups to ensure alignment and progress across the team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including UX/UI designers product managers and QA engineers to deliver highquality software.
- Develop reusable frameworks libraries and tools to streamline development processes and improve team efficiency.
- Define and enforce coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality across the team.
- Work with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and influence architectural decisions that align with business goals.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you have:
- 4 years of professional experience in software development with expertise in Java or a similar objectoriented language.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript with a passion for modern web technologies reusable components and scalable architectures.
- Indepth understanding of data structures algorithms design patterns and performance optimization.
- Proven experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular React or Vue.
- A solid understanding of fullstack development including backend services APIs and database integration.
- Exceptional problemsolving analytical and system design skills with a focus on scalability and performance.
- A commitment to mentoring junior engineers and promoting a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools for both unit and endtoend testing (e.g. Jest Cypress Selenium).
- Handson experience with version control systems like Git.

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $126700 $215400 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
