Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java front End (15 plus years exp)

Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Required Qualifications:
  • Handson experience in Front End/UI development enhancing and maintaining enterpriseclass applications using Angular and/or similar frameworks on the J2EE application development platform.
  • Handson experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
  • Handson UI development experience implementing Authentication and Authorization Caching strategies.
  • Handson programming experience in the following languages and technologies: HTML5 JavaScript JQuery AJAX CSS3 Bootstrap SASS Angular Typescript JSON XML ES5/ES6 NPM Maven and/or other UI frameworks/libraries.
  • Demonstrable experience developing optimizing and maintaining an enterpriselevel Front End/UI application including complete ownership of the frontend stack (JavaScript/HTML/CSS Angular and/or other UI frameworks).
  • Experience implementing clientfacing applications with responsive design and development.
  • Experience implementing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using JavaScript or frameworks/libraries like Angular.
  • Experience in developing selfcontained reusable and testable modules and components.
  • Strong understanding and experience with fundamental programming concepts including data structures algorithms performance caching and scalability issues in Webbased UI applications.
  • Experience developing and testing application user interfaces for ADA/Accessibility Compliance.
  • Experience implementing best practices in application design performance scalability and maintainability.
  • Experience in TestDriven Development (TDD) and test creation using frameworks such as Karma Jasmine and Selenium.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Handson experience with Spring Boot Java Applications.
  • Handson experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.
  • Handson experience with Agile Development Methodologies (preferably Scrum).
  • Handson experience developing web applications for Cloud platforms.
  • Handson experience with CI/CD methodology.
  • Handson development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Design develop and maintain Front End/UI components for enterpriselevel applications using Angular and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with backend developers UX designers and business analysts to implement functional requirements.
  • Ensure accessibility compliance in application UI development.
  • Optimize UI performance and scalability through efficient coding and best practices.
  • Implement authentication authorization and caching strategies in UI components.
  • Develop responsive and interactive web applications with a focus on usability.
  • Work within Agile teams to deliver highquality UI components in iterative development cycles.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Karma Jasmine and Selenium.
  • Follow SDLC processes including requirement gathering development testing deployment and maintenance.
  • Stay up to date with emerging UI technologies and best practices to enhance application development.
