Role: NodeJS. Developer
Location: Sterling Virginia (Locals to Virginia will be required)
Hybrid model: 34 days onsite a week is mandatory.
COMPLETE REMOTE IS NOT AVAILABLE.
Position type: W2 contract.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building highperformance applications and services using Node.js and will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable serverside applications.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code in Node.js.
- Design and develop serverside applications and microservices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
- Manage and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Good experience with ReactJS
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in working with databases (MongoDB PostgreSQL etc.).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular) is a plus.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud services (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
