Job Description

Information Security Manager Compliance

Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the construction industry to hire an experienced fulltime Information Security Manager with a strong background in compliance. This role will be responsible for leading the organizations security and compliance initiatives ensuring adherence to industry regulations and implementing security best practices to protect company assets and data.

What YOU will do:
  • Develop implement and maintain the organizations information security and compliance policies procedures and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations such as ISO 27001 NIST SOC 2 and other applicable frameworks.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security controls into operational processes.
  • Lead incident response efforts manage security investigations and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate security threats.
  • Oversee thirdparty security risk assessments and ensure vendor compliance with security policies.
  • Stay up to date with emerging security threats compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
What YOU will bring us:
  • 5 years of experience in information security with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Security Cybersecurity IT or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 SOC 2 CIS and HIPAA.
  • Experience with compliance audits risk assessments and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SIEM endpoint protection and vulnerability management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence security best practices.
  • Certifications such as CISSP CISM CRISC or CISA are preferred.
