Job Description
Job Title: EHR Data Migrator
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications:- Database Management: Expertise in database management systems workflows and data migration with a strong focus on healthcare Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Database Scripting: Proficient in Oracle Microsoft SQL Server Intersystems Cache or similar databases for efficient data migration to SaaS platforms. Advanced skills in Excel Word Visio and other spreadsheet tools.
- Business Analysis: Extensive experience reviewing analyzing and evaluating user requirements and operational procedures to identify process automation and system enhancements.
- EHR Application Domain: Proven ability to understand current EHR systems conduct workflow analysis and develop designs programming solutions and ongoing support using best software engineering practices.
- Workflow Documentation: Expertise in documenting process flows and standardizing process improvements through data collection and collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Data Specification: Adept at preparing data input/output specifications and resolving complex datarelated issues using analytical and logical problemsolving techniques.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills for preparing project documentation and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
- IT Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of current IT industry trends and strategic application within an organization.
- IT Architecture: Strong understanding of architectural concepts principles and tools relevant to infrastructure information systems applications and organizational structures.
- Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and related document templates.
- Familiarity with information architecture and information management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and best practices.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data.
- Prior experience with SaaSbased EHR systems and cloud data migration strategies.
- Lead and manage database migration initiatives ensuring seamless data transitions from legacy systems to modern SaaSbased platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements identify process automation opportunities and recommend technical solutions.
- Conduct detailed workflow analysis to enhance EHR system functionalities and design efficient process improvements.
- Document current and future state workflows capturing system usability and functional requirements based on subject matter expert inputs.
- Prepare detailed data specifications and troubleshoot complex datarelated issues using analytical problemsolving techniques.
- Produce clear and comprehensive project documentation including requirements process flows and technical design documents.
- Stay up to date with IT industry trends and strategically apply them to organizational technology initiatives.
- Provide architectural insights for infrastructure and application design to align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data security regulations and maintain a secure data architecture for EHR systems.
- Participate in Agile Scrum processes and deliverables to support iterative development cycles and project delivery.
