Job Description
The Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer will support the Space Force Contract in Vandenberg Space Force Base California. In this position you will perform engineering functions to design develop modify integrate and test new subsystems on monopulse tracking radars on the Western Test Range. This position will lead an engineering team with the technical aspects of projects and the supporting multidisciplined project teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop and execute new capabilities used by tracking radars.
- Perform complex system modeling simulation and analysis to provide the most appropriate technical solution.
- Plan conduct and assist the project manager in the execution of engineering projects.
- Coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel for assigned projects.
- Analyze develop recommend and implement approaches to meet customer requirements.
- Serve as an interface for project information to internal management and the customers.
- Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Provide expertise to restore operational systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
