Job Description
1. Professional Experience: Typically 35 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
2. Project Experience: Involvement in largescale Oracle database projects migrations and upgrades.
3. Oracle Database Knowledge
o Indepth understanding of Oracle Database architecture and components.
o Proficiency in Oracle Database versions (e.g. 12c 18c 19c).
o Experience in Database schema Design normalization and indexing and understanding of Oraclespecific features like tablespaces partitions and datafiles.
4. Performance Tuning and Optimization
o Skills in optimizing Oracle database performance using tools
o Knowledge of SQL tuning indexing strategies and Oracle Optimizer.
5. Backup and Recovery
o Proficiency in Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for backup and recovery operations.
o Understanding of Oracle Flashback technology for data recovery.
6. Security Management
o Implementation of Oracle database security features user roles and privileges.
o Knowledge of Oracle Advanced Security Data Redaction and Database Vault.
7. Scripting and Automation
o Proficiency in scripting languages like PL/SQL Shell scripting or Perl for automation.
o Experience with Oracle Scheduler for automating database jobs.
8. Knowledge of High Availability and Replication
