Job Description
As a Data Analyst you will join our Shared Service team where we strongly believe that working hard and having fun are two compatible elements.
Data is everywhere and in recent years the amount of data being generated and collected by the Global Services Organization has grown exponentially. The use of accurate data to inform decisionmaking is key in our organization. The role of the Data Analyst is to support GCS in making betterinformed decisions in any aspect of the business whether it relates to customer data entitlement data or data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- BI Solution Development: Assist in designing developing and optimizing interactive dashboards reports and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Data Integration: Support ETL processes to combine data from multiple sources ensuring data accuracy integrity and consistency.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions to address business challenges.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisionmaking.
- Documentation & Training: Document BI solutions and provide training and support to business users to ensure they can leverage the tools effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements in BI processes tools and methodologies to enhance the companys data capabilities.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 23 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in a large organization preferably multinational.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI: Experience creating and maintaining dashboards reports and data visualizations.
- Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Communication: Good communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders.
- Analytical Abilities: Experience in data analysis data modeling and a basic understanding of database warehousing principles.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps: Familiarity with these tools for project management is a plus.
