Job Description

Position: NCDOT Technical Specialist Senior
Location: Raleigh NC (27610)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Specialist Senior to analyze and modify complex legacy program modules for a state automated driver license system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming and will collaborate with a diverse team to ensure highquality project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze define and document requirements for data and business processes.
  • Design and coordinate changes to legacy modules.
  • Provide quality control for project deliverables.
  • Code and test new and existing modules for major modifications.
  • Document program and project deliverables as assigned.

Technical Skills Required:

  • 5 years of COBOL development experience in a mainframe environment.
  • Proficiency in DB2 CICS JCL and VSAM.
  • Strong knowledge of programming principles testing and debugging.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with financial processes analysis and modification.
