Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Governance:
- Prepare and maintain corporate records including minutes of meetings resolutions and filings with regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate and support board meetings including preparing agendas and distributing materials.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and work with regulatory compliance teams with respect to applicable regulatory requirements.
2. Administrative Duties:
- Manage and organize corporate documents and files ensuring accessibility and confidentiality.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as necessary.
3. Legal Support:
- Assist in drafting reviewing and organizing legal documents contracts and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support various legal matters.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the cryptocurrency industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration or related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal or in a corporate governance role preferably within the financial or cryptocurrency sector.
- Knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and compliance practices is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent research analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Chinese and English essential
