Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Vertex Tax Engine Consultant to design implement and optimize tax automation solutions within Oracle R12 and ERP Cloud. This role involves configuring and integrating the Vertex tax engine troubleshooting taxrelated issues and collaborating with finance and IT teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in tax reporting and calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure integrate and support the Vertex Tax Engine within Oracle R12 and Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Develop and implement tax calculation logic reporting and compliance solutions.
- Collaborate with finance IT and business teams to ensure proper tax data flow and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Vertex integration issues within Oracle ERP environments.
- Provide technical support and enhancements for tax automation and regulatory compliance.
- Work with thirdparty tax vendors and Oracle teams for system upgrades and improvements.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with Oracle Vertex Tax Engine implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle R12 ERP Cloud and tax configuration.
- Experience in Vertex O Series and tax automation processes.
- Handson experience with Oracle Financials Tax and Procurement modules.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL API integrations and troubleshooting tax calculation issues.
- Familiarity with tax compliance reporting and regulatory requirements.
