Main areas of responsibility:
- Identifies risks analyzes them elevates to the correct level of management suggests corrective actions verifies closure of open issues;
- Analyzes and determine any product/process nonconformities to solve customer or Autoliv concerns;
- Leads Problem Resolution Cross Functional team using the 8D process or other appropriate methods;
- Ensures that corrective measures meet company standards and that documentation is compliant with company requirements;
- Coordinates the disposition and hold of all suspect products from quarantine;
- Updates Control Plans (preproduction & production) and ensures that quality documentation is always updated;
- Actively involved and lead Zero Defects workshops;
- Propose Continuous Improvement activities;
- Actively involved in PFMEA Go and See and Fix in serial production;
- Develops modifies applies and maintains quality standards for processing materials: subassembly and finished materials/product;
- Collaborates with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place;
- Participate as an active member in local regional or global projects as a project quality;
- Provides feedback/recommendations to leadership as appropriate;
- Consolidate data needed for reporting purposes.
Experience:
- 13 Years Automotive Industry as Quality Engineer;
- Quality Auditor and VDA knowledge is a plus;
- Using an applying of problem solving tools: 8D 5Why Ishikawa Pareto other;
- Understanding applying and working with SPC MSA PPAP APQP FMEA Flow charts and Capabilities studies concepts;
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
