Job Description
Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting products to ensure compliance with our clients and customer policies and specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect and analyze products to verify compliance with customer specifications quality requirements and our clients policies and procedures.
Operate and monitor the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect products.
Communicate effectively with appropriate personnel when products do not meet required standards in a timely manner.
Accurately record data and maintain records of findings in accordance with our clients policies and procedures.
Recommend changes in production methods to enhance product quality.
Implement corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical Demands Employee must:
Stand walk push pull reach carry and lift parts from the floor to above head level.
Exert 2050 pounds of force occasionally 1025 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly to move parts objects tools equipment and cleaning materials.
Visual Acuity Must be able to read measuring devices machine gauges drawings travelers notes and equipment instruments with sufficient clarity to perform tasks safely and productively.
Working Conditions Employee may be exposed to:
High noise levels from operating machinery.
Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
Fumes dust and mist inhalation.
Skin exposure to oils cleaning agents and cutting fluids.
Required use of safety equipment.

Job Specifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Manual dexterity eyehand coordination and attention to detail.
Basic reading and math skills.
Effective time management and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to acquire retain and apply jobrelated information to improve performance.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and reading blueprints.
