Summary:
To lead technical sales efforts and projectfocused engagements in Nigeria emphasizing contract acquisition project management and relationshipbuilding within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Contract Acquisition and Project Development:
- Proactively identify and pursue new construction projects across Nigeria.
- Establish relationships with project owners consultants and contractors to secure contracts.
- Prepare and present technical proposals tailored to specific project requirements.
- Maintain a pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects ensuring regular updates and followups.
- Ensure alignment between project deliverables and customer expectations.
2. Project Execution Support:
- Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials for ongoing projects.
- Provide technical support during project planning and execution phases.
- Monitor project performance and resolve issues related to supply technical queries and complaints.
3. Market and Industry Research:
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging project opportunities and key industry trends.
- Track competitor activities and pricing strategies to stay competitive in the market.
- Provide written reports and actionable insights to the Managing Director.
4. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and nurture longterm relationships with clients and key stakeholders involved in projects.
- Regularly visit project sites to assess progress and address customer concerns.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical sales and projectrelated queries.
Requirements
Educational Background:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a top engineering school in Nigeria.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction sector with a focus on contracts and project execution.
- Demonstrated success in technical sales or business development related to construction projects.
- Successfully introduced new products into the Nigerian Market.
- Industry Network:
Established connections with construction contractors project managers and decisionmakers in Nigerias construction industry. - Certifications:
Possession of relevant licenses and certifications required for civil engineers in Nigeria. - Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills especially for contracts and project agreements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both online and offline).
- Ability to analyze project requirements and align technical solutions with customer needs.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management.

Remuneration: Net of 1.2million for a start and possible increase to 1.5million Naira based on performance. 80% basic net 20% Incentive (flexible with the right talent)
