Job Description

3 months contract with a Local Authority

Job Purpose

  • Managing JCT / NEC works contracts.
  • Developing capital works specifications to be used in the procurement of works

Key Duties/Accountabilities

  • Carry out leasehold charging consultation (Section 20) requirements for qualifying works.
  • Manage building consultants engaged to work on capital investment projects.
  • Monitor budgets and managing contractors.

Essential Experience Required

  • Ideally experience of working in partnership or for Social Housing Provider with experience of managing works is essential.


Essential Qualification Required

  • A relevant qualification and/or significant management experience in delivering capital investment projects is essential.

Additional information to note

  • Working hours: 36 hours per week.
  • Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence and car are required for mobile working. Please note there will be some evening and occasional weekend working required.
  • Job location: Carshalton Road Sutton Greater London SM1 4LE United Kingdom
