Job Description
3 months contract with a Local Authority
Job Purpose
- Managing JCT / NEC works contracts.
- Developing capital works specifications to be used in the procurement of works
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Carry out leasehold charging consultation (Section 20) requirements for qualifying works.
- Manage building consultants engaged to work on capital investment projects.
- Monitor budgets and managing contractors.
Essential Experience Required
- Ideally experience of working in partnership or for Social Housing Provider with experience of managing works is essential.
Essential Qualification Required
- A relevant qualification and/or significant management experience in delivering capital investment projects is essential.
Additional information to note
- Working hours: 36 hours per week.
- Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence and car are required for mobile working. Please note there will be some evening and occasional weekend working required.
