Job Description
Role Data Engineer
Exp 6 Yrs
Location Coimbatore
Budget 20 lpa

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Handson ETL design and development of complex data pipelines from multiple systems
Advanced SQL development implementing data processing computations and transformations
Automating monitoring and ensuring uptime of production data pipelines and integrations
Troubleshooting and remediating performance and data quality issues
Configuring reusable connections to various data sources
Collaboratively design data models and solutions with analysts and business teams
Utilizing source control tools to maintain version control for databases and code
Evangelize an extremely high standard of code quality system reliability and performance
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED
3 years of ETL and data pipeline development (Azure Data Factory Dell Boomi Databricks)
Data engineering programming languages (SQL Scala)
Databases and database objects (SQL Server SQL DDL)
Understanding of connectors and data sources (e.g. flat files web APIs SFTP databases)
Source control (Git)
Familiarity with cloud frameworks and solutions (Azure Storage Azure SQL PaaS)
Familiarity with providing data to BI visualization tools (Power BI)
Generalist who can get uptospeed quickly with new technologies through selfpaced learning and online research
Analytical thinker with excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as required in a fastpaced matrixedteam environment consisting of internal and external team members
Excellent planning organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
