Job Description
Our client is a trading company based in Nigeria that specializes in the exportation of high quality raw cocoa beans and cashew nuts. Due to expansion they are in need of a SALES AND MARKETING LEAD to join their shipping arm.
LOCATION: Lagos
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospecting building and maintaining customers portfolio and drive incremental sales growth through new business opportunities.
- Managing existing clients portfolio and devising strategies and plans to maximize probable Business development opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
- Respond to clients requests or inquiries and resolving customers complaints.
- Conduct sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
- Convert sales leads to quantifiable revenue.
- Managing and setting targets for the Sales Team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain or related field
- 710 years of experience in Sales in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts
- Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software
