SALARY BUDGET: 250000
EXPERIENCE LENGTH: At least 45 years
SUMMARY
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records analyze financial data and ensure compliance with all accounting regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization while supporting decisionmaking through accurate reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Management:
- Prepare maintain and reconcile financial statements and records.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyze budget variances to provide actionable insights.
- Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Prepare and submit statutory returns including VAT WHT and PAYE.
- Audit and Risk Management:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Identify and address financial risks.
- Support Functions:
Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Professional certifications such as ACA ACCA or equivalent are an advantage.
- Experience:
3 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
Experience in the wine and beverage industry is an added advantage.
- Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage or Tally).
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and high organizational ability.
