This role reports to the Sales and Marketing Director and is responsible for a team of 3. The plan is that the role will develop allowing the Sales and Marketing Director (as an owner) to focus more on strategic growth and less on the daytoday management of the marketing function.They are looking for a strong marketing generalist with experience across channels B2B and B2C. This is an ambitious business who need a marketing leader to match with passion and drive for business growth.
The role
- Develop and execute the companys marketing strategy to achieve targeted B2C sales objectives.
- Lead and manage the marketing team ensuring the seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials including printed materials and digital content.
- Plan and execute new product and service campaigns from conceptualisation to delivery.
- Conduct market research to assess the viability of current and potential products and services.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product management sales and customer support to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Analyse marketing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on marketing activities and campaign outcomes.
The candidate
- Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in a B2B and B2C environment.
- At least 2 years experience in leadership and management of creative teams with a proven track record of achieving KPIs and sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills for monitoring and interpreting market trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational proficiency.
- Handson approach with a propensity for collaboration across various business domains.
- Excellent communication skills facilitating effective teamwork and independent operation.
- A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
