[XC-JP] Reginal Head of Business Unit Compute Enhanced
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Head of Reginal Business Unit (RBU) to lead and accelerate our Compute Enhanced business to Japanese OEMs.
RBU is crucial for driving regional growth and market penetration by leveraging their expertise in local market dynamics customer needs and competitive landscapes. RBU plays a vital role in adapting our offerings to regional needs leading sales and overseeing engineering tailoring.
- Market Development & Strategy: Responsible for analyzing market trends gathering competitive intelligence identifying growth opportunities and developing region-specific input for the global corporate strategy. This includes identifying regional market requirements (e.g. legislation technology & feature trends) and defining strategic customers and mapping key personnel.
- Sales & Customer Relationship Management: Accountable for achieving sales targets building and maintaining strong customer relationships managing key accounts and developing effective regional sales strategies. They will also participate in defining the global customer strategy and demo approach with customer teams.
- Engineering & Product Tailoring: Collaborate closely with the Headquarters to adapt products to regional specifications and customer needs ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Operations & Team Management: Manage regional teams foster a high-performance culture oversee operational efficiency and ensure compliance with company policies. Ensure the staffing aligning with the global stakeholders
- Project Execution & Prioritization: Ensure the deliverable to make the seamless project execution collaborating with global engineering network. Make the prioritization aligning with internal and external stake holders.
- Budget Management & P&L Responsibility: Oversee budget planning performance tracking and profit & loss responsibility for the Compute Enhanced area in Japan and Eastern Asia
Qualifications :
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the field of automotive ECU or related automotive industry sectors including business development product development research and development or sales with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
- Demonstrated leadership of automotive ECU-related projects at an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or Tier 1 automotive supplier.
- Technical background in software electronics mechanical engineering or project management with comprehensive knowledge of automotive ECU.
- Proven experience operating effectively in global business environments for both engineering and delivery.
- Established leadership and team management capabilities.
- Advanced communication and negotiation proficiency.
- Business-level English language competency.
- Substantive understanding of the Japanese automotive industry market structure and business culture.
- Customer-centric business orientation and decision-making approach.
- Interfacing with customers in various roles/situations including acquisition escalation and claim handling.
- Forming and steering of complex delivery networks.
**Preferred Skills & Experience**
- Proficiency in Japanese language for direct communication with Japanese OEMs.
- Established professional network with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Competency in financial analysis and business metrics.
