[XC-CEPAC-JP] Head of Product Area Core Compute of Business Unit Compute Enhanced Japan

We are currently seeking a Head of Product Area (PA) Core Compute Japan to lead and accelerate our zone computers and powernet products business to Japanese OEMs.

PA acts as the regional business owner for the product portfolio ensuring alignment between customer needs market requirements product roadmaps engineering execution and financial targets.  PA leads a cross-functional organization and collaborates closely with global Product Areas Engineering Sales and Operations to achieve sustainable business growth and successful product delivery.

• Own the overall business performance and profitability (P&L) of the PAC-JP portfolio.
• Lead acquisition activities project execution quality performance and strategic staffing of key roles.
• Act as the primary escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
• Drive alignment and collaboration with global Product Areas Engineering and Business Units to achieve business objectives.
• Understand local market and customer needs shaping business cases portfolio direction and growth initiatives.
• Steer the complete lifecycle of the PAC-JP portfolio from acquisition through delivery and product evolution.
• Build and develop a high-performing organization ensuring the required competencies delivery capabilities and succession pipeline.
• Balance business growth customer satisfaction delivery excellence and financial performance through effective governance and KPI management.

Qualifications :

Required Experience

• 10 years of experience in automotive ECU software or related technology domains.
• Proven leadership experience in product development engineering project/program management or business management.
• Strong technical background in automotive systems software and vehicle computing architectures with the ability to bridge business and technology.
• Experience leading complex customer projects and global cross-functional organizations.
• Experience managing escalations quality challenges and delivery execution in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong track record in customer engagement acquisition business execution and organizational leadership.
• Proven ability to build develop and scale high-performing delivery and engineering organizations including talent development and key role staffing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Japanese OEMs and the Japanese automotive market.
• Experience in SDV vehicle computing ADAS cockpit or HPC solutions.
• Business-level Japanese and English.
• Experience with financial and commercial KPI management.
