Amazon Japan continues to achieve remarkable year-over-year growth powered by a high-quality transportation network that defies conventional industry norms. Within Amazon Japans Supply Chain division the Transportation Planning team is looking for a member to lead short-term transportation planning and drive process transformation anticipating both industry shifts and continued business growth.

輸送計画の策定と実行需要予測と傾向分析に基づき社内アプリケーションなどを用いてミドルマイルの短期計画を策定いただきますまた高品質な計画策定のために社内関係部門および取引先企業とのコミュニケーションスケジュール管理アクションの推進をリードいただきます

業務プロセス改善輸送ネットワークや社内アプリケーションの変更に伴って発生する業務課題の解決およびより高品質なサービスを提供するためのプロセス改善を計画実行いただきます

You will partner with internal stakeholders and external carrier partners to deliver efficient high-accuracy transportation planning and execution as well as drive operational process improvements.

Short-Term Transportation Planning & Execution Develop middle-mile short-term plans using internal applications grounded in demand forecasting and trend analysis. Lead cross-functional communication with internal teams and carrier partners manage timelines and drive actions to ensure plan quality.

Process Improvement Identify and resolve operational challenges arising from transportation network changes and internal system updates. Plan and execute process improvements to deliver higher-quality service.

Working Hour: Fully-Flex No Core Time

- 2 years of program or project management experience
- 2 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 2 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Business-level English skills (reading writing speaking)

- Business-level Japanese skills (reading writing speaking)
- 2 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
- Advanced SQL skills and basic Python
