Station Manager
Job Summary
Role Purpose
This role is responsible for leading and managing less-than-container load (LCL) operations at a station level ensuring operational excellence profitable growth and high-quality customer service. The position oversees service delivery process efficiency and compliance while driving continuous improvement and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee daily station operations ensuring high service standards cost efficiency and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Monitor operational performance and ensure timely accurate execution of all shipment activities
Resource Planning
Plan and allocate resources (staffing systems training) to meet operational demands and customer expectations
Performance & Productivity
Define and track KPIs related to service levels productivity and cost to serve
Drive performance improvements and ensure consistent service quality
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Ensure customer satisfaction while supporting business growth objectives
Collaboration & Governance
Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations customer experience process excellence) to optimize workflows and standardize processes
Continuous Improvement
Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements automation and digital initiatives
Compliance & Safety
Ensure full adherence to safety standards regulatory requirements and company policies
Team Leadership & Development
Lead coach and develop team members to enhance capability engagement and performance
Vendor Management
Manage external vendors (e.g. warehousing transport providers) ensuring performance meets agreed KPIs and SLAs
What we are looking for
Solid experience in logistics operations preferably LCL or freight forwarding
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
Proven leadership and team management capability
Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management skills
Analytical data-driven and solution-oriented
Experience in process improvement or operational optimization
Good command of English
