Specialty Care New Product Lead (Director)

We are seeking a talented and driven professional to join our Specialty Care New Product Planning team. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution and thrives in a dynamic collaborative environment.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future portfolio of Specialty Care in Japan by leading end-to-end new product planning and business case development. You will drive high-impact strategic decisions across pipeline and in-licensing opportunities ensuring that Japans needs and insights are effectively represented in global prioritization.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners you will translate market insights into actionable strategies influence go/no-go decisions and accelerate the delivery of innovative therapies to patients.
Job Summary (Roles & Responsibilities)
Assess business potential of product under development or in-licensing project to contribute critical business decision.
Develop business case of new product / in-licensing project in collaboration with relevant functions e.g. Clinical development Regulatory Medical affairs Market access Manufacturing and global counterparts etc.
Collect latest market information on Pharma business to develop competitive intelligence in cooperation with market research function.
Present proposal for go/no-go decision in pipeline products to Japan/Global senior management and obtain their endorsement.
Clarify Japan market needs/business potential through market research and communicate to Global Commercialization Team and Product Development Team and obtain support/appropriate priority among US/EU/ROW.
Prepare prioritization discussion in HHI.
Requirements (Required skills Competencies Qualifications Experience etc.)
Required:
Strong Business analysis skill
Deep understanding of brand planning process and methodology.
Project management skill to work cross functionally
Fluent English speaking/writing skills
Experience in communicating with global function
Skill of KOL negotiation and communicate with medical society
Strong skill to develop sales forecast based on epidemiology data
Desired:
Experience in launch new product
Scientific educational background
Knowledge of primary and secondary market research
Over 3 years of marketing experience in the Immunology area
Experience in designing and implementing patient support programs (PSP)
