Logistics cost estimation for new projects
Design and development of logistics concepts
Packaging specification design
Deployment of customer forecast planning to suppliers ordering processes and delivery schedule coordination
Inventory management of purchased components
Supply risk management
ERP system and data management
Supplier management
Proposal and participation in continuous improvement activities
Execution of other tasks and special assignments as instructed by the manager

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of supply methods in the automotive industry (FIFO JIT EDI)
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement concepts
Business-level proficiency in Japanese
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Preffered Qualifications
Bachelors degree with a major in Scheduling or Logistics or equivalent specialized education
Experience in operating customer portals/systems
Hands-on experience using SAP (CDP MM PP)
Knowledge and experience in layout design packaging design and logistics route design
Understanding of lean manufacturing and process improvement concepts
Knowledge and experience in logistics automation implementation
