Software Engineer – Backend & Cloud | TSE-Listed FinTech Company

One of our clients is looking for a Software Engineer to join an international engineering team developing modern enterprise and FinTech solutions for major clients in Japan.

This is a hands-on engineering position where you will work on backend and/or frontend development APIs cloud-based systems databases testing and system modernization projects.

Depending on your interests and experience you may also have opportunities to participate in system design and architecture phases.

About the Position

As a Software Engineer you will work closely with other engineers to design develop test and improve software solutions used in enterprise and financial environments.

You will contribute to product development and the implementation of the companys technology solutions while working with modern backend and frontend technologies.

Depending on your experience and career interests you may also participate from the system design phase and gradually expand your responsibilities toward architecture and technical leadership.

Projects can involve modern APIs payment platforms online financial services cloud-native applications microservices and modernization of large-scale financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software systems databases and applications

Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement software solutions

Design high-level APIs and write clean idiomatic maintainable code

Develop backend and/or frontend applications using modern technologies

Test troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software

Apply security and data-protection best practices throughout the development process

Create and maintain technical documentation
