Job Summary

Overview: As a Project Manager you will lead the entire project in a project to rebuild SAP S/4HANA and related core systems for a major manufacturing company. As a prime vendor you will be involved from the upstream processes to release and you will play a central role in supporting the customers DX promotion.

Role Highlights:

Participate as a prime vendor in a core project of corporate transformation: the reconstruction of SAP S/4HANA.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Planning and promoting SAP S/4HANA and related system reconstruction projects
Requirements gathering issue management and decision support with customers
Establishing project structures and team management
Project progress quality cost and risk management
Coordination and negotiation with customers and internal and external stakeholders
Vendor management and promotion of collaboration with offshore teams
Leading escalation and issue resolution
Promoting various projects such as waterfall development agile development and package implementation projects
Management of system migration projects and operations and maintenance migration projects
Driving continuous improvement activities to ensure project success

Requirements

What Were Looking For:

10 years of experience in the IT industry
3 years of project management experience and experience managing a team of 5 or more people
PM experience and customer negotiation experience in system construction projects
Japanese: Native level (ability to accurately understand and use complex nuances and expressions naturally and accurately)
English: Business Level

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP-related projects
Management experience in large-scale projects
Project management certifications such as PMBOK PMP Scrum Master
Experience in vendor management contract management and revenue management
Experience collaborating with offshore development or global teams
