Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs

We are seeking a Senior Manager Regulatory Strategy Oncology & Japan Affairs to join our Regulatory Affairs team supporting our Japan business in a hybrid work this role you will lead Japan regulatory strategies across multiple therapeutic areas while collaborating with global regulatory teams and local cross-functional partners. Discover your role:

Plan and execute Japan regulatory strategies and PMDA consultations for assigned programs
Lead marketing application and post-approval change submissions
Partner with local and global leadership to support Regulatory Affairs operations
Manage interactions with PMDA and other Japanese health authorities
Lead or support clinical trial notification preparation and submission activities
Represent Regulatory Affairs within clinical commercial medical and patient safety teams
Support local labeling patient information and promotional material review activities
You build strong partnerships across a global matrix environment

This role requires:

Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline; Masters degree preferred
10 years in the pharmaceutical industry and 5 years of relevant regulatory experience
Experience managing health authority interactions major submissions and approvals in Japan
Deep knowledge of Japan submission requirements local regulations and regulatory standards
Knowledge of clinical trial requirements and ability to resolve local procedural challenges
Experience supporting business start-up activities
Ability to ensure compliance with Japan regulatory requirements and local standards
Strategic thinking commercial awareness and strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in and foster effective matrix teamwork in a global environment
Fluent Japanese and English language skills
