We are seeking a Senior Manager Trade & Distribution Operations Japan to join our Market Access function supporting our Japan business in a hybrid work this role you will lead distribution and order fulfillment operations drive vendor performance and ensure compliance with distribution requirements while collaborating with vendors wholesalers Trade Legal and cross-functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

Discover your role:
  • Resolve distribution escalations with vendors customers and partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contract compliance.
  • Oversee distribution operations delivery performance and service efficiency.
  • Lead 3PL oversight for regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Monitor budgets inventory levels delivery timelines and pricing trends.
  • Produce vendor performance reviews quarterly metrics and management reports.
  • Support contract development claims resolution and workflow optimization.
  • You proactively drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
This role requires:
  • Bachelors degree.
  • 8 years in supply chain distribution or wholesaler management.
  • 5 years in pharmaceutical supply chain distribution or wholesaler management.
  • Extensive knowledge of GDP regulations and pharmaceutical transactions in Japan.
  • Expertise overseeing 3PL operations including order-to-cash activities.
  • Experience with contract and rebate processing in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
  • Strong understanding of prescription pharmaceutical commercialization.
  • Ability to track analyze and resolve data anomalies using business systems and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles related to supply chain and distribution.
  • Leadership experience facilitating meetings and integrating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational time management communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities adapt to change and deliver high-quality results.
  • Global market experience is a plus.
