• Strategic leadership and client partnership: You lead digital strategy and transformation initiatives for both regional and local clients acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business. By combining customer journey thinking with strategic storytelling you uncover growth opportunities build compelling business cases and drive new business development. You bring together insights creativity and commercial thinking to deliver recommendations that influence both clients and internal teams.
• Digital marketing and platform expertise: You lead integrated campaigns across earned owned paid and social channels creating connected brand experiences that drive engagement through to conversion. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on expertise in paid media SEO analytics and performance optimisation you shape market-relevant solutions grounded in Japans evolving digital landscape. Working closely with specialist teams you deliver measurable impact while integrating AI-driven marketing into broader digital strategies.

• AI transformation and innovation: You champion the adoption of AI across client engagements and internal operations helping teams and brands navigate the evolving digital landscape responsibly. You also lead experimentation and AI-enabled marketing solutions across MarTech ecosystems while staying ahead of regulatory and compliance developments.

• Digital and integrated marketing excellence: You oversee end-to-end digital campaign delivery ensuring projects are executed seamlessly on time within budget and to a high standard of quality. Collaborating closely with creative media analytics and technology teams you drive integrated marketing excellence while championing agency best practices across engagements.

The Heros Background: Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business PR/Advertising Marketing/Integrated Communications Journalism Linguistics or other relevant degreesfrom a reputable University.

• Have a minimum of 6 years of relevant digital marketing integrated communications or consulting experience (agency experience is preferred)
• Ability to work effectively in both Japanese and English is required

• Have relevant experience in leading integrated campaigns digital transformations and project management

• Strong knowledge of MarTech analytics paid media SEO and conversion optimisation
• Deep understanding of social platforms and Japan/APAC digital landscape preferred

• Familiarity with AI and emerging marketing technologies advantageous
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and senior client relationships across multi-markets in APAC
• Strong communication planning and project management skills
