Job Summary

EIRE Systems is seeking an experienced cabling subject matter expert to supportcabling activities for existing and new datacentersat our global financial services client. In this role you will work closely with global IT teamson the design installation and maintenanceof cabling infrastructure.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Take lead and manage the cabling design for existing and new data center. Work closely with global Enterprise InfrastructureCabling Engineering Team on the detailed design to ensure global consistencies
Prepare technical tender documents and specifications (e.g. design drawing scope of work cabling design criteria tender price sheet) work along with the procurement team to issue RFP. Conduct tender interview issue tender queries and provide recommendation report on selecting cabling vendors.
Coordinate with Internal Technology teams (e.g. Telco Networking Server Security Firewall teams) on collecting cabling design requirements.
Project manage budget cabling vendor review shop drawings procurement delivery logistics schedule installation works and program and witness commissioning testing and handover.
Project close out of cabling operations &maintenance manuals and as-built drawings.
Plan and manage the new cabling requirement or change requirement in existing DC.
Manage the cabling record (patching record patch panel record) in existing DC operation.
Work with DC Operation team in managing Move and Changes in existing DC sourcing consumables with vendors manage material stock level based on project and operation needs.

Experience:

5 - 10 years of experience in the design implementation and coordination of end-to-end structured cabling projects for enterprise datacenter environments.
Proven experience in preparing RFP technical documentation and completing project close-out deliverables.
Demonstrated expertise in vendor selection on-site vendor management and work quality assessment.
Strong understanding of Industry best practices including familiarity with ISO/TIA based testing standards.
Experience in working with global stakeholders and teams in other regions.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD.

Required Technical Hardware & Product Knowledge:

Panduit Cat6A copper & fiber (OS2 OM4) products
Panduit / CPI Racks/cabinets Panduit patching frames or equivalent
Fluke Network Instruments (e.g. DSX-5000 or 8000 Cable Analyzer)
LC MPO/MTP interfaces for single or multimode fiber solutions
Experience in high density fiber cassette solutions
Experience in Cisco and Arista equipment is a plus.

Language Requirements:

Bilingual:English and Japanese (spoken and written).

Good to Have Experience:

Relevant international cabling certifications (e.g. RCDD)
Financial industry experience
PMP or similar project management certification
