Job Summary
Role & Duration Role: SAP S/4HANA P2P Solution Architect
Experience SAP implementation experience with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA transformation
Prior experience in a Tier-1 / global consulting environment preferred Role Purpose Leads Japan-market rollouts and the enhancement of the global template for a large-scale manufacturing program. The role focuses on solution architecture template governance localization design and driving build execution through the development teams.
Core Expertise
End-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture Deep knowledge areas: procurement processes import procurement source determination demand flow STO automatic account & PO conversion pricing / output / batch management third-party subcontracting consignment pipeline invoicing plans evaluated receipt settlement EDI (order / delivery / confirmation / invoice / material master) data migration via LSMW / BDC Configure and optimize SAP S/4HANA P2P (MM Procurement AP) for automotive-specific scenarios Troubleshoot issues between SAP and third-party systems Define and manage interface patterns (IDoc API / OData EDI flat file CPI / PI / PO) including error handling monitoring and performance tuning Author configuration documents process flows test scripts and knowledge articles Write functional specs coordinate with the ABAP team and test new features; SAP MM experience and EWM integration are required Strong architecture leadership across the core value stream
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution discovery fit-to-standard workshops and architecture design for the Japan rollout Introduce the target architecture enhance the global template and apply Japan localization while ensuring alignment with core design principles Act as design authority approve solution deviations and ensure governance compliance Define and manage the integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP systems (MES PMC legacy third-party tools) Provide clear solution direction and drive build execution through the implementation teams Collaborate with Japan business stakeholders global process owners and IT leadership Guide teams through blueprint build test cutover and go-live phases of the rollout program Ensure compliance with Japan business process statutory audit and control requirements
Industry
Required: large-scale manufacturing / automotive industry experience Valued strengths: discrete manufacturing supply chain & production planning quality logistics and cost management Experience with Japanese manufacturing standards and practices is a major plus
Requirements Strong global template governance and architecture decision-making capability Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA best practices and the fit-to-standard approach Ability to clearly explain complex architecture decisions to senior business and IT leadership Proven track record on multi-vendor global deployment programs
Language Japanese: native English: preferred (comfortable working in English) Preferred
Experience deploying multiple countries on a single S/4HANA global template
Experience working with Japanese OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers SAP S/4HANA certification
