今回募集するシニアマネージャーはこの品質管理体制の中核を担うポジションです約20名のチームを率い全拠点における品質管理業務の標準化展開をリードします具体的には品質管理システムの設計導入作業環境の整備品質担当への業務トレーニング在庫管理に関する法令遵守トレーニングの構築などを統括します

Amazon is rapidly expanding its logistics network to deliver a broader range of products to customers faster than ever. As fulfillment sites of varying scales are established closer to customers it is essential to build robust quality management systems that ensure accurate legally compliant inventory management across every facility.

The Senior Manager of ICQA Central leads approximately 20 team members and drives the standardization and deployment of quality operations across all site types. Responsibilities include designing and implementing quality management systems establishing operational environments building training programs for quality associates and developing compliance training for inventory-related regulations.

Beyond new site launches this position also optimizes quality operations across the existing network. You will benchmark global counterparts identify and implement process and cost improvement opportunities and drive the continuous evolution of quality management frameworks. This is a high-impact high-autonomy senior leadership role at the forefront of Amazons logistics network evolution.

- 事業部長クラスのシニアリーダーとの直接的な連携と優先度交渉

1. Team Management
- Manage a team of approximately 20 members including 6 direct reports
- Define team vision and develop medium-to-long-term strategy
- Develop and execute hiring plans; build a sustainable talent pipeline
- Coach team members drive career development and conduct performance evaluations
- Foster an inclusive team culture that values diversity

2. Quality Program Planning and Execution
- Lead the advancement and new deployment of quality management tools (cycle counts inventory audits etc.)
- Define business requirements for new tools; plan pilot and scale across all sites
- Monitor quality metrics and develop improvement action plans
- Establish and continuously improve operational workflows and service-level targets

3. Cross-functional and Global Collaboration
- Partner directly with senior business leaders on priorities and resource negotiations
- Share best practices and co-lead projects with global quality management teams
- Own and drive cross-functional projects to delivery
- Present proposals and strategic recommendations to executive leadership

4. Quality Governance and Standardization
- Develop quality standards and deploy them across all facilities with audit mechanisms
- Build process improvement frameworks and standardize best practices
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans
- Participate in annual business planning and set team-level goals

- Lead team-wide weekly meetings; set direction and share priorities
- Conduct 1-on-1s with direct reports: career coaching performance feedback and problem-solving
- Strategic discussions with your manager: org challenges resource allocation and long-term planning
- Drive cross-functional project reviews; negotiate priorities with stakeholders across the business
- Make strategic decisions based on quality metric trends
- Join regular meetings with global ICQA teams: share best practices align on joint initiatives
- Present proposals and status updates to senior business leaders (written narratives and presentations)
- Conduct hiring interviews; develop talent strategy for team growth
- Design new programs: define vision build roadmaps and prepare investment proposals
- Participate in business review meetings; report team outcomes and challenges to executive leadership
- Domestic and international travel (site visits global meetings leadership offsites)

About the team

- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience in people/stakeholder management
- 5 years of process development experience
- Experience prioritizing competing demands scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines
- Experience presenting complex ideas in writing in the form of authoring white papers proposals or other formal strategy documents
- Speak write and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1)
- Experience in Business English skills both verbal and written

- 1 years of quality assurance engineering experience or Bachelors degree within last 12 months in engineering technology computer science machine learning robotics operations research statistics mathematics or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience with data analysis and SQL
- 3 years of program or project management experience or PMP certificate
- Experience implementing change management successfully transitioning programs into large-scale operations
