Export Operations Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

As an experienced member of our Export Operations team you will independently manage our export and trade operations including;

• Managing export orders from overseas customers
• Preparing and reviewing export shipping documents (invoice packing list certificate of origin etc.)
• Determining specifications of export-related packing materials
• Arranging international transportation and negotiating with forwarders
• Managing customs clearance and ensuring export control / trade compliance and ensuring on-time delivery to overseas customers.

You will communicate in English with overseas customers.

REQUIREMENTS

This position is open to experienced candidates only. The following qualifications are required:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in export / trade operations including export documentation and customs procedures (manufacturing or automotive industry preferred).
• Solid working knowledge of export customs clearance INCOTERMS and trade documents such as commercial invoice packing list B/L and certificate of origin.
• Practical knowledge of export control regulations (security export control) and trade compliance.
• Experience handling FTA / EPA preferential origin and HS code classification.
• Business-level English both written and verbal for daily communication with overseas customers.
• Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and resolve issues proactively.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure compliance with customers delivery date.
• Ensure accuracy of export documentation and compliance with customs and export control regulations.
• Proactively identify and resolve trade and logistics issues.
• Make great effort to meet customers request.

PREFERRED (Plus)

The following are considered a plus:

• Experience using an ERP system (e.g. SAP) for export and logistics operations.
• TOEIC 600 or above or equivalent English proficiency.
• Under 40 years old
