Job Summary
The KAM Pet channel is a strategic member of the organization. He/she is in charge of:
Achieving sales shares and 7P goals within Key Customers in the EC channel
Build strong engagement by developing negotiating and implementing Joint Value Plans with Key Customers. Produce clear and efficient internal communication to ensure excellent execution in the EC site.
Conduct effective negotiations to implement Terms and Conditions aimed at achieving profitable growth for Hills and Customers
Represent Hills as the strategic partner of choice in premium dog and cat nutrition to Customers in Japan
Develop a clear understanding of customer strategies policies and future plans including Digital opportunities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

50 | Develop implement and follow up Joint Value Plans with top key accounts. Lead the organization in developing the best plans for the 7P superior execution: assortment promotion & support plans POS material training to drive recommendation. Boost relevance and loyalty for our brands and products. |
10 | Communicate the agreed JVP internally across departments (CS&L Marketing Finance) and in the field to guarantee excellence in execution |
10 | Participate in Country OmniCommercial Planning Process and RGM to bring Pet Channel Perspective and opportunities |
10 | Manage agreed budget for Commercial Investment. Propose the best investment strategy for Budget and LEs. Conduct quarterly GtN review to balance accruals vs actuals with Finance Department |
5 | Conduct effective negotiations with Customers to implement Terms and Conditions aimed at achieving profitable growth for Hills and Customers in alignment with Regional/Local T&C guidelines |
5 | Plan a field visit together with a PTM per month to stay connected with the field business to assess the understanding of the strategy the usage of the tools and the roll out of the plan develop by the KAM |
5 | Ensure Distribution Policy implementation and compliance to Commercial Selling Principles |
5 | Represent Hills at meetings/conferences e.g. Trade shows Pet training days Local and National meetings Client Meetings |

Education/ Experience Requirements
Basic qualifications include: University Degree
At least 5-7 years of experience in Sales / eCommerce
Fluency in Japanese
Business English (Preferred)
Preferred qualifications include: Experience in FMCG or specialty channel customer development

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office/Google document and ability to learn company specific tools & programs
