Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a MDM Analyst located in Chiyoda Tokyo Japan

Overview

As a Master Data Management Analyst within Global Services you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy consistency and integrity of enterprise data that supports business operations. This role contributes to effective data lifecycle management enabling high-quality data for decision-making compliance and operational efficiency.

You will work in a collaborative global environment supporting standardized processes enhancing systems and tools and driving continuous improvement. This position offers strong development opportunities within data operations and global services.

Key Responsibilities

Execute master data operations activities in accordance with defined procedures ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with internal controls
Support data entry validation transformation and quality checks across systems to maintain reliable and consistent master data
Prepare and maintain operational metrics dashboards and reporting to monitor performance and data quality
Resolve routine data and process issues while ensuring proper documentation andadherence to standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven solutions and business requirements
Contribute to projects that enhance master data processes tools and systems including automation initiatives
Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standardized global processes
Maintain data consistency across systems identifying and addressing discrepancies or inefficiencies
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business needs and improve service delivery

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree preferably in Supply Chain Logistics Business Administration Data Analytics or a related field

Experience and Skills

Required:

02 years of professional experience in data management operations or a related field
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy and quality
Analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to work in a structured process-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel) and familiarity with enterprise systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred:

Experience with master data management or data governance processes
Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP or similar platforms)
Experience in a shared services or global operations environment
Familiarity with automation tools or digital technologies
Experience extracting analyzing and reporting on data from multiple data sources
Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement processenhancements
Knowledge of compliance audit or data quality standards

Other

Language: Fluent Japanese and business-level English required
Travel: Minimal (010%) primarily regional if needed
Certifications: Data management Lean or Six Sigma certifications preferred
