You will support our Silicon Solar Cells group which focuses on the development of high-efficiency silicon solar cells and silicon-based tandem solar cells. To achieve the highest possible efficiencies with perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells effective engineering of the interfaces is necessary. Layer systems consisting of Al₂O₃ and TiO₂ have the potential to improve the interface between the perovskite absorber and the electron contact by both effectively passivating the surface and increasing stability. For our group Silicon Solar Cells we are looking for a student assistant to begin as soon as possible with the opportunity to write a masters thesis on the topic Development of an ALD Layer for Passivating ETL Contacts for the following tasks:
