Machine Maintenance Technician

IDEMIA Kawasaki Service Center is looking for a new team member to help keep production equipment safe reliable and efficient. You will operate and monitor machinery perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues while contributing to production quality and continuity. The role offers hands on development across mechanical electrical and software-controlled systems with opportunities to grow into root-cause analysis improvement installation and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Set up operate monitor and adjust production equipment according to production needs.
Perform inspections preventive maintenance minor repairs first-line troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
Monitor equipment performance product quality and output; maintain daily and shift records.
Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams on recovery recurrence prevention and continuous improvement.
Follow safety 5S quality and security requirements and support audit preparation.
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or above.
Japanese language proficiency sufficient to effectively negotiate and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders
At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing or equipment experience.
Hands-on experience in equipment operation or maintenance.
Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
A safety-focused responsible and collaborative approach. Preferred
Maintenance of qualification or technical education.
Knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic or PC-controlled systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
Knowledge of how to use hand tools and measuring tools.
Experience with RCA FMEA TPM OEE or 5S.
Experience with card issuance or encoding equipment.
