  • 各事業部門からの法務相談への対応および事業推進における良き相談相手としての支援

• 必須要件

  • 日本の弁護士資格をお持ちの方

  • ネイティブレベルの日本語複雑な法的文書の対応や社内ステークホルダーとの調整を行えるレベル

Job Description: In-House Counsel (Legal & Compliance Department)

Purpose and Mission of the Role

Under Roche Diagnostics K.K.s corporate philosophy of Doing now what patients need next this role contributes to business development by appropriately managing the companys legal and compliance risks as a member of the Legal & Compliance Department. Our organization values contributing through teamwork. We are seeking an individual who will not only interpret the law but also work as part of a united team to actively engage in operational improvements including process institutionalization AI utilization and the promotion of legal DX (Digital Transformation).

Key Responsibilities

You will be entrusted with a well-balanced and wide range of responsibilities in both legal and compliance (legal compliance and corporate ethics) operations.

Legal Consultation and Contract-Related Matters

• Responding to legal consultations from various business divisions and providing support as a trusted partner to advance business initiatives.

• Supporting the drafting reviewing and negotiation of contracts (handling highly specialized areas contracts involving overseas parties or specific jurisdictions and matters with potential litigation risks).

• Collaborating with external counsel and managing outsourced services.

Compliance and Organizational Foundation

• Promoting overall legal compliance and corporate ethics and conducting various training sessions and audit operations.

• Supporting investigations related to internal whistleblowing (ensuring appropriate response to reports).

• Participating in internal systematization (improving the efficiency of legal operations) such as maintaining a shared repository for judgment criteria.

Required Experience and Skills

Required Qualifications

• Bengoshi Qualification: Must hold a Japanese lawyer qualification (licensed to practice law in Japan).

• Japanese Proficiency: Native-level to handle complex legal documentation and manage internal stakeholders

• English Proficiency: Business-level English proficiency or willing to learn English (used for global collaboration investigation responses etc.; Guide: ability to communicate effectively in meetings in addition to reading and writing).

• Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work harmoniously and complement each other as a member of the organization.

• Mindset: A proactive mindset to enjoy not only legal knowledge but also contributing to the organization and gaining a deep understanding of the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Practical experience as a lawyer (approximately 3 to 7 years is expected but motivation and potential will also be considered).

• Industry Experience: Both candidates with industry experience and those new to the industry are welcome.

給与

基本給月額500000円 能力経験等考慮の上当社規定により決定

住宅手当月額22000円

時間外固定手当月額84194円時間外労働の有無に関わらず20時間分の固定残業代として支給

20時間を超える時間外労働分についての割増賃金は追加で支給

補足 賞与年1回3月昇給年1回4月
