Job Summary
- Design scalable microservices manage system integrations and optimize database schemas
- Develop modular user interfaces and build high-performance secure backend APIs and frontend applications
- Conduct code reviews enforce coding standards and mentor junior developers
- Backend Development: Build secure business logic and microservices using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Frontend Development: Design responsive user interfaces with Angular or React.
- API Integration: Develop and expose robust RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints to bridge the frontend and backend.
- Database Management: Design schemas write optimized queries and manage data via relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL) or NoSQL options (MongoDB).
- Deployment & DevOps: Containerize applications using Docker and support CI/CD deployment pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
- Quality Assurance: Write unit and integration tests (JUnit Jest) and participate in peer code reviews. 1 2 3 4
- Should have worked in Agile lifecycle and have good understanding on how Scrum teams operate
- Collaboratively work with cross functional teams
- 10 years of work experience out of which at least 2-3 years of experience as a Lead managing/mentoring a team of junior developers
- Good hands-on knowledge of Java (JDK 8/11/17) JavaScript / TypeScript HTML5 CSS3
- Knowledge of Core Java Spring MVC Java Spring Boot API Microservices Python
- Experience in Angular or
- Working knowledge of Database MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle SQL Server
- Working experience in GitHub Tomcat and Maven
- Experience with AWS Services: S3 ECS RDS
- Exposure and participation in Agile / Scrum environment
- Japanese language preferred not essential
