Job Overview

The IT Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of IT application development and support for designated regions or projects. Additionally this role entails managing IT budgets strategically to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high service standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Team Management

  • Provide overall leadership for the IT applications team including administrative functions performance evaluations and team management.
  • Manage client (internal) and stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Identify key issues and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Document application deployments and share key learnings with vendors and end-users for improvement.

Project and Vendor Management

  • Ensure the highest up time of applications through collaboration with IT stakeholders.
  • Lead project management for IT and business initiatives managing time cost and resources.
  • Communicate any project slippage or issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Manage vendor relationships including SLA management and vendor engagement.
  • Prepare and track IT and project budgets.
  • Implement and enforce IT governance policies.
  • Contribute to product development initiatives.

Sustainability

  • Promote judicious use of natural resources.
  • Adhere to the organisations environment health and safety policies objectives and guidelines.

Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)

  • Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.

a. Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.

b. Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts. For more detailed explanation follow the ABMS manual.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate/ Postgraduate degree in IT Information Systems or related field.
  • Additional graduate degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong programming experience preferably in Microsoft Technologies (5 years).
  • Project management experience (1 year) including team leadership of at least two people.
  • Familiarity with Internet Technologies and online applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and develop effective technological solutions.
