Field and Design Engineer, Field and Design Engineering

Amazon is looking to hire an experienced innovative hands-on and customer-obsessed Field and Design Engineer that can drive expansion in our Last Mile Delivery network. As a member of the Japan Amazon Logistics Engineering team you will be responsible for leading the physical launch and modifications to Amazons logistics buildings.

You will own the design planning and implement the construction milestones and budget for new launch site and existing site modification with coordination of external and internal stakeholders and will grow to lead the design optimization of Delivery station layout Material Handling Equipment and Construction project management of our existing and future Logistics network.

Key job responsibilities
Project management of new facility launch and modifications to our building network including leading the development of design project milestones and budget estimation to secure the target launch schedule.

- 3 years of industrial engineer operations engineer manufacturing engineer or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelors degree
- Business level proficiency in both Japanese and English

- Knowledge of AutoCAD VBA and SQL at the intermediate level
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
