Equipment maintenance Manager
Job Summary
The Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of equipment at Tsukuba Plant coordinating preventative maintenance and managing equipment engineers. Key duties include supervising maintenance engineers managing budgets and conducting performance appraisals.
This position reports to the Plant Manager and is part of the Equipment Maintenance team located in Tsukuba Plant and will be an on-site role.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Directly supervise maintenance engineers
- Lead ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on equipment mechanical electrical and other installed systems.
- Improve the equipment productivity (Analyze the efficiency of current procedures and suggest improvements to better this attend KAIZEN event).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation/Encourage 5S activity.
- Maintain good relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Technical College or university degree (or equivalent)
- 10 years experience in Equipment management
- 5 year experience of managing people
- In-depth technical knowledge of electricity machine control and PLC
- Knowledge of ISO and experience of certification audit
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Overseas travel within APAC a few times a year
- Must have a valid drivers license
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- English communication skill
- Electrician Licenses
