Role Summary
TheSenior Business Insights Analystis a strategic analytics partner supporting commercial marketing and omnichannel decision making across priority therapeutic areas.
This role transforms complex internal and external data intoclear actionable insightsthat shape brand strategy customer engagement sales effectiveness and business performance. Acting as adata translator the Senior BIA bridges business needs with analytics data science market research and technology teams.
The role contributes actively to adata driven culture ensures alignment with global analytics frameworks and may mentor junior analysts while collaborating within the international BIA community.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Business & Commercial Insights
- Analyzecurrent and historical performance data toidentifytrends opportunities and risks across brands campaigns customers and channels.
- Providefact basedrecommendations to supportmarketing strategy sales execution forecasting and omnichannel effectiveness.
- Translate complex analytics into clear narratives tailored to senior and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Deliveradhocanalyses to support strategic and operationaldecision making.
2. Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Contribute to the designofdashboards and standard reportstracking KPIs related to brand performance sales force effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Ensure consistency equity and robustness of KPIs across therapeutic areas and functions.
- Monitor campaign brand and omnichannel performance highlighting insights and opportunities.
- Continuously improve reporting processes in collaboration with IT global teams and external partners.
3. Advanced Analytics &Synthesis
- Leverage advanced analytics outputs ( segmentation spendoptimization) to enrich insights and recommendations.
- Partner closely with Data Science teams to contribute to or interpret predictive models when relevant.
- Support business planning and forecasting accuracy through analytical input and scenario analysis.
- Identifyand integratenew data sourcessuch as primary or secondary Market Research.
- Partnerwith IT Data Stewards and external providers to ensuredata quality integrity and governance.
- Support compliant data usage in line with local and global policies ( market research standards).
4. Cross Functional Collaboration & Enablement
- Act as a trusted analytics partnertoMarketingSalesand DHH Capabilities Enablement teams.
- Collaborate within theglobal BIA communityto share best practices and ensure strategic alignment.
- Contribute todata literacy initiativesand mentor junior analysts where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters degree in Business Economics Statistics Data Science or related field
- 46 years in analytics or data analysis (regulated industry preferred)
- Commercial marketing or sales support experiencerequired; pharma/healthcare a plus
- Advanced skills with Excel SQL Tableau Power BI; Python/R knowledge is beneficial
- Ability to interpret complex data deliver actionable insights and communicate effectively
- Strategic problem solver with strong business acumen and storytelling skills
- Collaborative team player experienced across business and technical teams
- Adaptable and willing to learn new tools and approaches
- Fluent in local language and professional English for global collaboration
Measures of Success
- Timely delivery of high-quality analyses and dashboards that are used in decision forums.
- Clear actionable recommendations and strong stakeholder feedback on usefulness.
- Improved repeatability/automation of recurring reporting and insight packs.
- Consistent adherence to data quality and documentation standards.
