Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation project within the aviation this role you will contribute to the modernization of a customer loyalty platform by developing and integrating backend services with a next-generation loyalty system.

Work Place: Tokyo Japan

Work Style: Hybrid/Onsite as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Developing APIs test integrate performance optimization and delivery as per requirements transition and transformation.
Responsible to deliver the assigned functionality with agreed quality and with in timelines.
Create and maintain Design Documentation.
Able to coordinate with customer on clarifications/issues and requirements.

Requirements

Essential Skills/Experience:

Experience in backend development using Java ver17 Spring Boot Maven SQL AWS and JUnit.
Proficiency in Japanese (Native level / Business level N2 above) and everyday conversational English.
Excellent documentation and technical skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
Ability to work across onsite/offshore teams and manage cross-cultural communication.

Nice to have:

Experience in Airline domain.
