Role: Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager (Enterprise Application Integration & Automation Services)
Location: Japan (Tokyo Office)
Based on your role please note that this position may require on-site presence at Infosys premises and/or client locations. Work location and on-site expectations will depend on projsect scope phase and business needs at the time of allocation with flexibility governed by business and client requirements
Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible fordriving revenue growth for Infosys portfolio focusing onenterprise integration APIled connectivity digital process automation and AIdriven modernization.
This role works closely withaccount teams solution leaders partners and clientsto identify transformation opportunities shape valueled deals and close large multiyear engagements across industries.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Ownsales targets and pipelinefor Infosys offerings across assigned accounts or geographies
- Identify qualify and pursue opportunities in:
- Enterprise integration & middleware modernization
- API management and platformled integration
- Digital Process Automation (BPM workflow case management)
- AIled legacy modernization and automation platforms
- Drivelarge transformation deals managed services contracts and annuitybased engagements
Client Engagement & Value Selling
- Engage withCIOs CTOs Heads of Architecture Integration Operations and Digital Transformation
- Position Infosys as astrategic enabler of cost takeout agility and scale not just a technology service
- Translatebusiness problemsinto Infosysled solution narratives and commercial constructs
- Lead client discussions onROI TCO reduction platform rationalization and automation benefits
Solution Shaping & Deal Closure
- Collaborate witharchitects solution managers and delivery leadersto:
- Shape winning solution approaches
- Define scope commercials and delivery models
- Build differentiated proposals and value propositions
- Owndeal governance including pricing margin approvals and risk assessment
- Drive deals through internal reviews tosuccessful closure
- Maintain astrong pipeline forecast accuracy and reporting discipline
Required Skills & Experience
- 815 yearsof enterprise technology sales or consultingled sales experience
- Proven track record in selling one or more of the following:
- Integration platforms / middleware
- API management & microservices
- BPM / workflow / automation platforms
- Digital transformation or modernization programs
- Experience working withlarge enterprise clientsand complex buying groups
Sales & Consulting Skills
- Strongvaluebased and consultative sellingcapability
- Ability to articulatebusiness outcomes not just technical features
- Experience managinglarge deal cycles(618 months)
- Commercial acumen across pricing margins and managed services models
Technical & Domain Understanding (MustHave)
- Solid understanding of:
- Enterprise integration patterns and architectures
- APIled and eventdriven architectures
- Process automation and orchestration concepts
- Comfort working withsolution architects and technical teams(handson delivery not required)
Soft Skills
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills
- Stakeholder management across clients partners and internal teams
- High ownership resilience and ability to operate in ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience sellingplatformled or assetbased solutions
- Exposure topartnerdriven sales motions
- Prior experience inlarge SI / consulting organizations
- Industry experience inBFSI Telecom Manufacturing Utilities or Public Sectoris a plus
